The Production Numbers project involves pinging Honda and Acura VIN databases using an algorithm and a database of possible VIN numbers based on Federal Regulations. The data provided is believed to be the most accurate possible source for production numbers, as it is developed using the actual Honda/Acura database.
Accuracy of data is paramount. We verify the data with checksums and random spot checks.
Although not all chassis types are represented, we are diligently working to add more as time allows. The process is extremely data intensive and takes time.
